Situated in a quiet suburb, Wolverhampton Carmel stands in about 3 acres of ground which the sisters cultivate to raise vegetables, flowers and fruit for their own use.

Carmel in a Wolverhampton suburb

Founded in 1922 in great poverty, under the title of the Magnificat of the Blessed Virgin Mary, it flourishes today, the only Carmel in the English Midlands.

When not engaged in Prayer and recitation of the Divine Office their main work is the production of greetings cards.
